It’s been a brilliantly busy start to 2019 with lots of exciting projects underway, including a number of strategy days to help perfectly position our clients for a profitable year ahead. We have thoroughly enjoyed welcoming the new year with our existing clients as well as some fantastic new ones and we’re really looking forward to seeing how this year progresses.
The team kicked the year off with a fantastic filming day at The Super Calorific Pellet Company, capturing footage and photography for use on their website and throughout digital content.
Following their recent success at the international DAME Awards, our friends at Triskel Marine have had an excellent start to the year by being awarded the Overall Winner of the Pittman Innovation Award. This prestigious award is presented annually to outstanding new products in the sailing industry. A huge congratulations to the whole team, we’re excited to see what the rest of the year brings!
The Fastnet team has expanded! We have welcomed two new people to the team:
Amy joined the team in January 2019 as our Account Manager, handling all content and web maintenance retainers.
Kate joined the team in November 2018 as our Content Coordinator, creating engaging digital content for our clients.
The team have been preparing for the arrival of Managing Director Sarah’s baby, ensuring everything will continue to run smoothly in her short absence. The team presented Sarah and Alex with presents for when the baby comes – including a Littlest Director babygrow, Haynes Manual for babies (very important) and big sister bandanas for the dogs!
Sarah will be on maternity leave from Monday 4th February. She’ll be out of contact for at least two weeks, after which she’ll predominantly be working from home for three months. The team are well set up to take the reins in her short absence. Vashti will continue to manage projects, whilst our newest team member, Amy, will be managing both content and website maintenance retainer clients.
