At Fastnet Marketing, we’ve had an incredibly exciting year so far.
In addition to having the pleasure of ongoing projects with clients including Mylor Yacht Harbour, The Falmouth Classics and the Azores and Back Yacht Race (AZAB), we’ve also welcomed some exciting new clients onboard.
From yacht charter companies, to naval architects and new business start-ups, we’ve taken a look back over some of the great companies and individuals we’ve worked with in 2018 so far…
Bowman Yacht Charters
Bowman Yacht Charters offer both skippered and bareboat charters, individually tailored sailing adventure holidays, corporate events and day trips. Based in Falmouth, they are able to provide sailing trips onboard one of their three stunning yachts to explore the beautiful West Country coastline, the Isles of Scilly and beyond.
The company already had an existing brand, however they wanted this updated in order to have a more contemporary feel, with consistency across the company’s website, printed materials and social media platforms. We helped support the growth of the business by designing eye-catching branding, in addition to creating and building a new eCommerce website to enable online bookings. We then crafted engaging content, including ongoing regular blogs and social media updates, and designed print materials such as smart new business cards.
We also worked with Bowman Yacht Charters to produce an exciting marketing video. Filmed using the latest drone technology, it is designed to really capture and communicate what a wonderful experience the viewer could enjoy by booking a charter yacht package.
Video marketing is a faster, more engaging way of getting your message across than written content, and adds significant value to your company brand and identity by helping you stand out from the competition, as well as creating great content to share around social media.
WaveWalker BV
A joint venture between Fugro and Van Oord, WaveWalker BV was established with the shared operation to design, build and operate WaveWalker 1, the first jack-up barge specifically designed to offer a safe, secure solution for marine operations typically affected by location, tides and weather.
WaveWalker BV began their journey with Fastnet Marketing by attending one of our strategy days. We worked with them to form a clear marketing plan to drive the business forward and achieve their goals, which allowed us to plan the next steps with the client.
As the company already had an existing brand that they wished to keep, we simply developed this by adding an emblem and creating a wider colour pallette by mixing up the brand colours of blue, red and dark grey. We then put everything into one clear brand book to ensure the cohesive use of the brand throughout all marketing platforms.
In addition to branding, Fastnet also designed and built a new responsive website, created informative content for the new site, and regular blog and social posts, and designed and produced printed materials.
Jack Gifford Marine Design Studio
Jack Gifford Marine Design Studio, based in Falmouth, offers Yacht Design and Naval Architecture services. Having a background in the Classic and Superyacht sectors of the marine industry, Jack Gifford offers design services to both leisure and commercial sectors.
Here at Fastnet HQ, we kicked off the new marketing plan with a strategy day. We also designed new branding for the company, creating an eye-catching, unique logo that will help the company be clearly recognised by clients and competitors alike.
